I was Recently on the Top Left Recordings website looking at there release’s when I came across “The Fresh Water Playlist” from New Breed MC. It was available as a promo album. So, I figured That I had the opportunity to Meet this MC at The Passion Lounge Thursdays night shows throughout the summer, 2011. What I found with New Breed MC, is he’s the most down to earth regular guy that I’ve meet thus far in this strange industry. With real life problems from girls to inner vs outer self struggles and the constant hustle to be a Canadian Urban Artist. However the one thing that stood out, during his Performance, was something that no other MC was displaying that night. The shear will to give it his all. With this is mind, I downloaded this offering, and started to roll up in the anticipation. As the first track “Sleep is for Suckers” started to play, I knew this was gonna be a classic New Breed MC mixtape.

This mixtape features 9 solid New Breed MC tracks with a couple of special appearancesm MC Fubb, Roach Uno, Relic, Sean Prominent are all equally, as fresh as, New Breed MC. Also you can find this Toronto talent on bills all across Ontario, from Toronto - Hamilton, all over the G.T.A. for that matter. “HELLA HOTT” Canadian Choice Cuts:

“Sleep is for Suckers”

- This track has an Asian feel to it, and seems to have a touch of RZA on the production, however, its not, just the vibe I got, As for New Breed MC’s Flow, he take’s you a ride into the world of generals who hustle music, live and breath music, and occasional need some fresh water to go along with this music. **HELLA HOTT**

“Just Rock”

- This track is amazingly proper, the cuts and scratch’s are sick the beat is crazy fire the bass line hits hard, and the New Breed MC is the defiantly the Garfunkel of the funk chopping this track out his trunk from east to west T. Dot. In all honestly pone of my favorites because in my opinion is has a deep deep Brooklyn feel to it, however something Toronto can be proud of. **HELLA HOT**

“Blue Lights”

- Defiantly Satan’s Choice cut of the Year 2011. This track is the realest thing I’ve had the privileged to listen to since the Jon Connor offering recently. And this track is heavy rotation in my playlists and vibe every time I hear it. **HELLA HOTT**

“Something So Good”

- This track brought me back to my first relationship which on some days I cant remember, and others cant forget, But that’s the ability New Breed MC has. its like he can make you relate to his own struggles of love by the word play and imagery he provides, and not just on this track on every track I guess, I can say honestly that this track reminds me of my ex, but its still fire.. **HELLA HOTT*

“Re:Fresh”

- Okay easily the best track on the album, and should be on the top ten of every radio station in Canada, screw it on every radio station in the world, and if I was your manager it would be, but we save that another day, Looky this track is inspiring, and hopeful in its true form and spirit, just like New Breed MC, who always seems to get my head headbanging hook and sample are proper, nice, and lets just say **HELLA HOTT**

New Breed MC is one of Toronto’s Nicest. and that’s Righteous. If your reading this New Breed, You really have something to say, and that is what we need right now. Keep pushing ahead and continue to forge that empire of sick lyrics that more often then not, hit hard with a sense of reality. If you stop I personally will be disappointed but the world will be without one of the great minds of Canadian Rap. And If your a real hip hop head in general this album is for you to play on that summer day, or when your feeling down, or need a pick me up . Fresh Water Playlist is just that, Some fresh water in this seemingly polluted water I’m often served with.

Through all my trial and tribulations in this industry I have come up with a couple of lessons that I have learned and now would like to share with like minded individuals who are intersted in this great opportunity that is right before us. Why cant we gain a chunk of the social media market. Its not just for online businesses, its for every business, Retail is the fastest growing market online as I wirte, and is only growing, both B2C, and now B2B is also expanding into the market at a tremedous pace. So be realistic if you’ve not taken advatage of this then your business wont be around in less then 5years. Anyways, lets get into my 3 step system that will help guide you through this world wide web of social media marketing mayhiem.

Step #1

3 things you NEED to start:

1. -  Social Content: 

Create Content: youtube, vemo, docstock, slideshow, others.

Publish, Like, Share, Get interaction with People.  

2. - Social Network:

Facebook, twitter, google+,  and many others.

Talk, interact, build friends, contacts, relationships.

3. - Social Bookmarks:

Creat a account on Dig, Regulate and favorite stuff, 

Share the content, bookmark it, 

Bookmark everything with your link.

Step # 2

3 things you NEED in Place:

1. - Magnet:

A carrot to dangle, you need something attractive, .

Draw people of social networks with the bait.

Something they wat, need, like, helps them.

Irresistible to them, or benefits them, & quickly.

Note: the more poeple you get to jump over will result in the relatioships you build ad ultimatly sell them something.

2. - Offer:

You need an offer, a product, or service.

Something popular that the masses want.

The best things to sell or offer are the follwing.

Heath, Weath, or that make’s them more beautiful.

3. - Home:

You need a home online, a business hub.

Write add content, Blogs, Video, Audio.

Post somethig every 3-4days/ Outsource.

Build relationships through giveaways, for contact info.

Make offers on side bars for potetial sales.

Step # 3

3 Social Media Strategies Site:

1. - Linkein:

Recommendations, ask, and leave options are huge features.

Search specific, you can get to your target market easy.

E.I., Doctors, America, Age, so you can get to who you want.

2. - Facebook:

Seach your particular market.

Customer pages, groups, fanpages.

Join them, leave commets, status updates, 

Or pitch your magnet to gage response.

3. - Twitter:

Status updates, and magnet placement.

Start a tip/pic/track/blog of the day.

Build Relationships and trust.

When its all said and done the most important parts of social media is to build relationships through contet, follow ups, interactio, building your e-mail list to ultimatly make your magnet reach alot of potential customers who will buy your product, or service. Always postion yourself,  & service, or product at the top of the heap, or best at what you do, find away to get your product or service out there through, social sites, mobile networks, video sharing sites, and blogs, sharing content into relavent markets to ensure getting the word out in order to go viral.
